What is your most memorable wedding?
We recently had a Russian, Greek orthodox wedding. Some of the customs are absolutely bizarre including the groom having to drink shots of vodka from the mother in-law's shoe. Needless to say whist we didn't partake, we had an awesome day and captured some incredible memories for a beautiful couple.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fine Art, documentary, classic, beautiful, memorable
What about your business are you most proud of?
We hand pick all of our gifts, products and speciality photo and wall art. We take great care to provide the highest quality for you on your special day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Spend out on photography. Don't go budget. After the cake is eaten and the flowers have died, this is the best way to remember your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Wooden engraved Welsh loves spoons - oh and Welsh Cakes!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From our first meeting to the first viewing of your images, we take pride in the experience. We know you're going to love it but we don't want to give too much away!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The Kiss.... obviously!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
How about a groom being asked to drink Vodka from his future Mother in Law's shoe? Apparently its an old Russian custom.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Big, see through umbrella. Lots of coloured parasols and possibly a raincoat?
Describe how you got into photography.
I wanted to take better pictures of my children and picked up a camera after seeing school photos of them and declaring that "I could do better". I photographed a few friends wedding and now almost 10 years on and over 50 weddings later I know I made the right decision.
