What is your most memorable wedding?

I would have to say my own wedding if I'm honest though I have photographed many amazing weddings throughout the 12+ years I have been in business. The best for me are those that are a little different and unique.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, fun, traditional, relaxed, friendly

What about your business are you most proud of?

I have photographed over 650 weddings and still going strong. To still be photographing 50 weddings a year, I must be doing something right!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Lists!! Be organised and have a list of all your suppliers with contact details. Meet with you photographer before your wedding to go through a schedule of the day and photographs required. If you have a toastmaster or wedding planner, put them in touch with your photographer, it will help lots!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I always like to see anything creative - things that a couple of made which depict their personalities.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Communication - lots of it throughout from before wedding to after wedding!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The couples kids, parents and grandparents - I particularly think it's nice to include a generations photograph.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A motorbike burn out shoot - see my website main page for a photo!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Natural photo's indoors with some staged family photo's. I provide umbrella's if bride & groom want to brave the rain too!

Describe how you got into photography.

Before I became a wedding photographer, I was a musician. When waiting around for soundchecks, I began photographing other bands which led to me being a band photographer. I began doing some test photoshoots as a second photographer with a videographer friend of mine and then set up business for myself in 2006.
