Your wedding day should be remembered as the most fun day that you have ever had! You should not be spending your day standing in a line, forcing a smile for the 23rd formal portrait of the day. Sure we need a few of those to keep your parents and grandparents happy, but who has ever looked back on their wedding day and remarked how much fun they had standing in a line? We aim to capture the real wedding day, where emotions and reactions are caught forever, moments that you might not even remember until you see them again.
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Neil Ridley
I am genuinely as excited about your wedding day as you are. I love the little details that you spent hours agonising over, the atmosphere of the day and the reactions on peoples faces as the day unfolds. Let us capture your day in our special way. We offer unobtrusive coverage of every moment, we start at Bridal prep and we wont finish until your party is in full swing and we have it locked away forever.

What is your most memorable wedding?
We shot a wedding in the summer of 2016 which took place in a cave in the Lake District. Literally a cave, Cathedral Cave. The technical challenges of shooting in such a dark space aside, it involved the main shooter climbing a rock waterfall whilst carrying his camera gear to reach a cliff edge for a group shot. Not an unforgettable wedding and also one of my absolute favourites.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Discreet, Confident, Natural, Unpretentious, Friendly
What about your business are you most proud of?
The reaction of my Brides and Grooms when I deliver their images. Its the most nerve wracking time that you can imagine, waiting for them to reply, it seems to last forever. Their reaction has always been one of amazement! Usually along the lines of 'Oh My! You caught that?' I live for it!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take time for yourselves during the day, escape from the function room and take a walk on your own as newlyweds. Spend time with each other, many Brides and Grooms remark to me that they hardly saw their partner during the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Personalised, hand written notes for every guest, waiting for them at their table for the wedding breakfast. The reaction of everyone was amazing. It must have taken the Bride and Groom weeks to produce them.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There should ALWAYS be that one magical image of the Bride and Groom, outside at night, regardless of the weather, that could be on the cover of a magazine. Your photographer should have it all set up for you and it should take just a few moments for him or her to capture it. Everyone deserves to be a movie star on their wedding day!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A portrait of the Bride and Groom stood in a turnip field behind a caravan park. Yes Mark & Rhiannon, Im talking about you two!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Get outside!! Grab an umbrella and dash out into the rain with your photographer. He will only need you for 30 seconds and a rain shot is absolutely beautiful.
