Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Nic
Hi! Congratulations on your engagement! I hope you're finding wedding planning a fun experience. I've been shooting weddings since 2013 and I just love it. No two weddings are the same and for me, this is the best part. It's your day and you should have it your way. I'll be there capturing all the special moments in an unobtrusive way! No cheesy posing, no interfering. Just beautiful, natural storytelling. Please check out my website for examples of my work. I hope to hear from you soon!

Professional, fun, warm and TALENTED
“Firstly, my husband and I simply can’t get over how much we love EVERY picture that Nic supplied us. We were told from family and friends how important it was to get a few photos of your day that you love, to keep forever. So, we made sure to pick our photographer carefully… never did we expect to get nearly 800 pictures, all of which we LOVE. Everyone keeps saying how stunning the tone of these pictures are, and how natural and non-posed they are. Also, she quoted a six-week turnaround time for all the images as September was a mental month for weddings… she got them to us in three!! Three! Aside from the beautiful images, Nic’s way with her ‘subjects’ was what stood out to us the most. Both of us aren’t natural photo subjects, but straight away on the day Nic made us feel relaxed and we had lots of fun. She also took charge (in a nice way!) with our family and friends when getting them ready for the “family shots” which was a huge help! It was an absolute pleasure to have Nic as part of our day, thank you!!”

Best day ever captured on film forever
Nicola was amazing, she arrived early and spent the morning with me & my bridal party helped capture all the little touches we had planned. When my nervous came in the moments before I left to get married she was on hand to play me some music on her phone while I danced out my stress. Andy the groom hates having his photo taken but he found the experience relaxing and not overwhelming Nicola managed to catch the days feelings in the photos perfect and it’s easy to look back and remember what was going on in each picture. Every time we watch back the photos we fall in love new ones and it’s hard to pick a favourite. One day in the future when we start a family we will defiantly return for baby and family shoots with you. Thankyou x

Frequently Asked Questions
(8)

What is your most memorable wedding?

A flaming festival themed wedding on the Welsh border

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, documentary, stylish, alternative, fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Working in my pj's ;)

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't listen to anyone else's advice ;) Do what makes you happy. Don't let Uncle Bob take your wedding photos!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We have a chat, usually online, sometimes we FaceTime and sometimes we meet for a coffee. A quote is sent online and if you're happy, you sign the contract online and pay the deposit. Job done until nearer the wedding day. Then we will finalise a timeline and a 'bucket list' of important photos. Different photos are important to different people so it's nice to be clear from the outset.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Confetti! And a selfie. Sorry, that's two.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Let it go! Let the rain go, let the dress go, be brave, get out there. No regrets!

Describe how you got into photography.

By accident! I got a fancy camera when I had my youngest daughter and everyone was very complimentary and said I should start a business so I did! Weddings was even more accidental. A family friend hired me as an Uncle Bob (I've mentioned Bob before. Its a term us 'togs' use to describe relatives with massive cameras thinking they are professional wedding photographers!) and the rest is history.
