What is your most memorable wedding?
We've had so many, but the one wedding that really stands out for us was a wedding held in Hornsea. The town really came together for the bride and groom, and helped with flowers and setting up venues. It was a unique wedding in that it had a bohemian theme, and was featured in a wedding magazine.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Our style is documentary, candid and natural. We go against the old fashioned style of posing, and rather capture the memories throughout the day.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We are most proud when a bride and groom tells us what a great job we did. We are very personable, and we've been told that our energy and friendliness added to the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It was a collage of photos of the bride and groom, from when they met right through to the wedding.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A photo on Bridlington Spa stage. We had the theatre to ourselves, and we tried different styles.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas.
Describe how you got into photography.
First started with photography in 2008, purely as a hobby. I am a graphics designer by trade, so photography played a big part in that. By 2010 we were asked to photograph our first wedding, and everything just naturally flowed. We photographed more weddings, worked with Google, York Racecourse, and eventually started creative portraiture.
