What is your most memorable wedding?

I once did a wedding for a Scotland international rugby player who invited most of the team to the full day wedding. Most of the wedding pics had to involve a rugby ball or the bride being thrown somewhere!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Happy, creative, sharp, bright & clear.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of the fact that almost all of my bookings come via word of mouth recommendations from previous clients.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Design & have YOUR wedding & don't be carried along by family or venue wedding planners.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Singing waiters can be fantastic but outdoor weddings are great.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

You meet each other, you fall deeply in love & you decide to get married. You contact me to take the wedding pics, we meet over coffee, talk for a while & agree a booking. We meet up again before your wedding for some free pre wedding photos then it's your wedding! I turn up, photograph the day, you love the finished photos & we all live happily ever after.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

First kiss or first dance.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A couple on an oversized deck chair custom built for the event or the bride visiting her horse in her wedding dress & riding boots.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Big smiles & umbrellas. Go with it & enjoy it.

Describe how you got into photography.

I got a camera for my 21st birthday in 1987.
