What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave it until the last minute. I know it's cliche, but far too many couples miss out on the photographer they want, the food supplier or even the shoes because they leave it far too late. Aside from your clothes, most things can be sorted out earlier than you think.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Short version: Initial call/coffee - Book your date - Keep in touch - Final call/coffee 1 month before - Wedding day - First image preview the morning after - Photographs returned within 2 weeks.
Long version: I like to meet up with my couples and go over their big day, giving us both a chance to see if we click. A good relationship with your photographer is very important to get the best photographs. After the deposit is received, your date is 100% secured. I then ask couples to keep in touch with any changes to numbers, venue, photograph ideas and other key details. A month before your big day, I like to have a final coffee meeting to go over the final bits of information that will help me ensure nothing is missed on your big day.
Photographs are usually sent over within 2 weeks of the wedding date, stored in an online portfolio for family, friends and the couple to view and download. Albums and memory boxes can take up to 2 months depending on how long the couple take to select the photographs they would like printed.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
One of you both looking into each others eyes, without any words spoken knowing that the bond between you both is unbreakable. It's cheesy I know, but no one has ever not loved that picture!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bridesmaids carrying the groom, a modern twist on a classic shot.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella and some wellies! The rain isn't going to stop us getting amazing photographs. If it does, we can head indoors and make sure of the interior.
Describe how you got into photography.
It all started from the moment I bought my first camera, I knew that I wanted to try and test out as many different genres of photography as possible. Once I purchased my first home studio kit, I worked quickly to get my first portrait session booked with a truly wonderful family. When the shoot was over, I knew I was hooked. From that shoot on I knew that I wanted to make a career photographing people.
