Enjoy yourselves! Don't forget to take a moment every now and then on the day to stop and look around, watching your friends and family having a great time and celebrating your marriage will stay with you for the rest of your lives.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I've seen some great table seating plans recently, one using a map and pins and one with a polaroid photo of each guest, that was cool.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We have to meet first so they can see some of my work and meet me in person before they make any decision. I'll then leave them to get back to me once they've had time to think. I then send them an agreement that details everything we have discussed, this can be amended at anytime before their wedding day. About a month before the wedding day I like to visit the venue and if possible with the couple so we can walk through the day, choose areas for the formal shots things like that. This is great for me as I can start to visualise the day beforehand and some of the shots I'm going to take. About 2 or 3 days after their wedding the coupe receive a slideshow of about 30 images set to music as a little sneak preview, and then two weeks from their wedding day I send them a link to a private gallery with all their wedding photos in it. These will then be sent out on a handy little USB stick, which also includes a large slideshow in different sizes so it can be played on mobiles and their TVs. If they have ordered books or any other products they can now start choosing which images they would like me to use. I take a deposit of £250 to confirm the booking and then invoice them for the remaining balance about 2 weeks before the day itself.
