Full Description
I’m a chilled out, coffee-guzzling Wedding Photographer for relaxed and fun couples. I live in the beating heart of the North-West (erm, Wigan) with my fiancè and a cheeky cat called Ellie. I photographed my first ever weddings on board a cruise ship over ten years ago and after working on lots of boring commercial photography jobs, I returned to my love of parties and people in 2016. Nowadays I spend my working life shooting unique and beautiful weddings for not-so-traditional couples. I’m privileged to have the best job in the world, and love what I do even when it rains!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Without sounding too cliché, they're all memorable in their own way! I've seen everything from broken legs on the dance floor, to four-person-weddings... and everything from Castles to mini-weddings with two guests! Each and every one has charm.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

fun, casual, relaxed, emotive, beautiful.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I love that I have so many new friends, every year. A booking is not the start of a business transaction, it's a gateway to a relationship.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy it... and don't stress about the weather!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love anything handmade and vintage... and it helps that it's really popular at the moment!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After the initial enquiry, we'll usually arrange a coffee or a video call (location dependant) to make sure we're right for each other... We can then complete the booking and look forward to the big day, with a few points of contact along the way. After the wedding, you'll have all of your images within 3 weeks, and we can look into albums :) Simples.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There isn't one... every couple has their own story, and your wedding photos are a collection of images to tell the story.

Describe how you got into photography.

I started shooting photos aged around 17 (long, long time ago) of my friend on BMX bikes. I eventually got pretty good at it, and shot magazine work and some advertisements. I eventually expanded into shooting advertising work for all sorts of companies, travelled the world with photography, before settling into weddings when I realised how much I love 'em!
