What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan to enjoy yourself and relax as much as possible on the day. Choose the photographer that you feel instinctively would be right for you and take the time to look closely at their portfolio, it's important to look at lots of photos from real weddings and not just the 'wow' images you see in website galleries.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Rain can look really romantic in photos and there are many ways to use it in a creative way. We'll grab a few brollies and venture out capturing rain sharply with you out of focus and with you in focus with the rain as orbs. Shots also with you both in silhouette in a door or archway with the rain coming down behind you can be stunning or looking through a window from the outside of you both inside in shadow or lit by a soft lamp. These are just a few ways to use the great British weather imaginatively.
Describe how you got into photography.
I was an illustrator and graphic artist for a few years before I became a professional photographer and this was natural progression to capturing and creating images through a camera lens.
