Full Description
The regions leading wedding photographer, now accepting no more than 25 weddings a year... This is in order to give my clients the very best experience. Deadlines are never exceeded and client expectations are always met Choosing the right photographer to tell your love story is a key decision. I can create beautiful images, find the right light, the right setting and turn your photographs into art… My day begins with the brides, from the 1st moment the make up is applied, I’ll look after you every step of the way, I’ll pose you, advise you, calm you, make you smile. My style is relaxed, making it a fun experience, the images flow easily if you’re enjoying the shoot! After the wedding, & in close consultation with you, I personally edit & design each page of your Wedding Story. Only once viewed & approved by my bride & groom, are they turned into the exquisitely unique “Wedding Art Books” which are then hand made in Italy. Creating Wedding Art Books to these standards is intense time consuming work, so to keep my standards at the highest level, I now limit myself to 25 weddings a year, so please book early to avoid disappointment, as I now turn away more weddings than I accept. Elite wedding photographers require a rare set of skills, so choose carefully. Reputations & recommendations are hard earned, & should be valued, but to avoid the genuine heartache of poor photography, there is no substitute for calling into their studio, meeting your photographer, looking through their work & chatting about how each wedding is approached. I look forward to meeting you whenever you are ready... I offer four Wedding Options starting at £975. Each option can be tailored to suit each bride & groom’s individual requirements.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Karl Whitehead
I always recommend seeing at least 2-3 photographers in person as quality can vary so much from photographer to photographer. If you love their work, and feel you can like & trust your photographer, then I'm sure you will get the Wedding Art Book you deserve!

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own, I love my work... but not that much!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fresh, High end, bespoke, innovative, beautifully finished

What about your business are you most proud of?

The end result, for me handing over the finished Wedding Art Book is a joy! The clients reactions are priceless to me.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Time is always the enemy, especially with the preparations. 70% of the time the hair and make up runs over, and puts pressure on the whole pre wedding shoot. Best tip... tell your hair and make up artists you need to be ready 20 minutes before you actually do.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A groom learned to play the guitar without his bride knowing, on the morning of the wedding, he sat outside her hotel bedroom, and played her favourite song, very moving...

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Wee meet for you to view my work, we meet again 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding to fine tune, we meet and shoot together on the day, I prepare your viewing within 4-6 weeks, once you return to me with your chosen images I prepare a sample Wedding Art Book design, you amend, I correct, once everyone is happy, it goes off to be hand made in Italy by the finest wedding book specialists, to my exact designs.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The 1st kiss at the end of the ceremony, its a huge moment, and a lot of tension is lifted as you kiss as a married couple for the 1st time.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A bride in a snow-swept landscape, lifting her dress, wearing bright red wellies, kicking snow all over her groom!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Smiles, if it rains on your day, the thats just the story of your day and I will still tell the story of your day perfectly, paint days equal stunning skies, and with the help of brollies and willing groomsmen, we can still create some wonderful art for you.

Describe how you got into photography.

Age 14 I assisted the best local wedding photographers for free for over 2 years, until at age 17 I shot my 1st wedding. I also studied photography for 2 years and gains a distinction diploma.
