When it comes to your wedding photography I think it's really important to find someone whose work you love, and who makes you feel relaxed and comfortable - they will be with you for most of the day after all. My prices start at £895 for 8 hours of coverage, £1095 for 10 hours and a second photographer or £1395 for 12 hours and a 12x12" handmade album for the more treasured of your wedding memories. If you're looking for something outside of the box I am happy to provide a competitive quote. All my collections include travel throughout the UK too. I'm always on hand to answer questions and offer guidance during your wedding planning, especially as photographers are often heavily involved in the flow of a wedding day too! We're basically toastmasters in disguise! If after the wedding you would like to order printed products, like fine art albums, wall art of prints, I am happy design and order these on your behalf from my preferred supplier. Even beyond the delivery of your images I am always on hand to answer any aftercare issues and I'd love it if every couple who booked me became friends for life long after their wedding has come and gone.

What is your most memorable wedding?
I think everyone fondly remembers their first wedding. I had offered photography as a competition prize to a lovely couple who had not long had their second child. It was only a small wedding on a cold February day. Despite the weather it was just lovely and everything was perfect.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Candid, Natural, Authentic, Documentary, Modern
What about your business are you most proud of?
As a photographer you have the foresight of knowing quite a lot about the entire wedding process and while some are happy to just play one small part in the process, I love to share my knowledge and experience with my couples. Planning a wedding is stressful and it's great to be able to help where I can. I go the extra mile for those who book me and am always on hand to offer advice where possible. Be it recommending other suppliers or providing tips on colour schemes, hair styles and timings for the day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Place value and importance in what matters to YOU, not on what was important to others.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always love meeting a couple in person after their initial enquiry to get a real sense of what they want on their wedding and to answer any questions. After booking I send over a welcome pack and recommend some useful websites and blogs on planning a wedding. If the couple want a pre-wedding session this is a great way for them to see me in action and get used to my working style before the big day, and they get some gorgeous photos too! Soon before the wedding we have a final planning meeting to go over timings for the day and finalise any details. On the wedding I am there either from bridal preparations or from the ceremony through till after the first dance - but am always happy to stay longer or arrive earlier if requested. After the wedding I maintain excellent communication on the progress of their images until delivery, and will liaise with the couple if they want to get an album put together or order prints and wall art.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The one they want to put on the wall. Something dramatic with gorgeous light, an amazing background and two people on the happiest day of their lives.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I think it really depends on the venue as some can offer really quirky opportunities for some creative photos! Most of the time it's me coming up with these ideas but one of my couples in 2017 wanted a photo centred around the bar at their reception, with the bride powering through another drink while the groom and groomsmen were slumped on the floor defeated. That was great fun and as you can imagine a pretty lively and enjoyable wedding.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it! Get some umbrellas out and go for those photos no one else has in their album.
Describe how you got into photography.
It's always been an interest of mine from a young age and since I don't have many other creative talents it seemed the perfect way to showcase my artistic side. I started my business in earnest in 2014 after taking some photos of some friends of mine as a couple. It was their encouragement that drove me to do it professionally and the rest, as they say, is history.
