Our friendly team is headed up by Collette Evans who has over 16 years photography experience, specialising in wedding photography, promising perfect fairytale pictures from start to finish. She is assisted by one of her team of experienced photographers. "We will be your guide when things don't go as you had planned, to remind you of the time and help you be where you need to be when you need to be. Most importantly we are there to capture the story of your wedding day and present you with quality show stopping images". We care about what you want. Lets put any budgets aside for a moment and get to know what you want for your wedding day. Heres a word or two about budgeting for Photography. Budget for the best. For a good wedding photographer, you can expect to pay between £1,000 and £2,500 depending on the location. It can seem a lot to pay but it will be so worth it. Be honest with everyone you contact about your expectations, it will allow them to try to accommodate and assess your needs. Collette said “You are paying your photographer for their experience and skills on the day and afterwards. Each wedding can take up 60 hours including shooting, editing and album design". I see my role as a wedding photographer the person who can not only give you amazing wedding photos but also give you supplier advice too should you need it. What is your most memorable wedding?

Wow, after over 100 weddings, where do I start? I think the best weddings are the ones where you can see a true bond with the whole family, the ones where you can feel the love in the room. They are the ones that get me every time.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Modern, fine art, natural, creative, a good mix

What about your business are you most proud of?

Excellent customer service, I try and go the extra mile for my clients and leave them not only with amazing photos but a great experience.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan before seeking out suppliers and quotes, budget on a spreadsheet and then add 15% contingency.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A bride had lost her dad and she had sewn a heart made from his old overalls into the course and inside of her dress to keep him close to her and walk her down the aisle.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

In brief: 1) After booking, I always let the couple know what is next. I think this is super important. 2) Their engagement photoshoot takes place anything from 6 months to 4 weeks prior to the wedding. 3) Shoot the wedding 4) Post wedding viewing premiere 5)Album design appointment if required

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

One during the evening, this is where the magic happens for me, its usually something that the client can't re create by themselves and so makes it special.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I think it has to be one on the beach at Bamburgh Castle, simply stunning backdrop for a wedding photo.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Don't panic! Bring weddingtons and I will bring a white umbrella, we can head out and create some amazing photos then then go indoors and find some more cute photo spots.

Describe how you got into photography.

I bought my first camera when I was 12 with the help from my parents and was really encouraged by my mum where we would go out on the weekends so I could practice, it was film then and so waiting to see what the results were was really exciting. I landed my first job at a photo studio aged just 15 where I learnt lots about photography and also customer service, by 18 I was also studying for my HND photography and also working in a commercial studio in Sheffield where I stayed for 9 years until I set up Picture Perfect Photography. I have been happily capturing moments for couples for over 6 years now within my own business, I find it very rewarding and I have met some wonderful people.
