Full Description
I began my journey as a photographer back in the 1990's, before digital cameras became popular, and so learnt my craft using film. I practised with film all the way through my degree. Two weeks after graduating I landed my first full time job as a studio photographer, using DIGITAL! I then began the never ending journey of learning to work digitally, which 14 years on, I now LOVE! I now work as a full time wedding photographer, working with an array of different clients. Every wedding is different, and I love telling each unique story through the eye of my lens. I'm not sure how many weddings I've covered to date exactly, but I'm pretty sure it's over 100!

The results were amazing, beautiful, natural and
My husband and I asked Becky to photograph our wedding after we saw some of her work on her website. We really liked the relaxed and creative style of photography she uses. We asked for a mix of traditional posed photos and relaxed natural photos that captured the special moments with out being over the top or forced, we also asked for a mix of colour and black and white photos. The results were amazing, beautiful, natural and creative photos. Becky arrived early to the venue to get a feel of the surroundings and the best place to photograph us so she knew exactly what she wanted to do when the time came. She mingled well with all the guests through out the day getting some lovely photos of them all, she even took requests from some of our guest as well. After it was all over she did a brilliant job of editing our photos, allowing us to double check them before she sent them out to us. We are very happy with our lovely wedding day photos and would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for something more personal and creative than the usual wedding photographer.

As soon as we saw Rebecca's website we knew we had
As soon as we saw Rebecca's website we knew we had found someone with talent based on the pictures on the site. I was also drawn to the fact that she took the time to edit items out of photos which took away from the final picture. This seemed to be a step which no other photographers highlighted they would do. Throughout the whole process Rebecca was professional and understanding of anything we requested of her. This helped us to relax and know exactly what we would be getting on our special day. On the day it was lovely to finally meet Rebecca, she was so friendly and it felt natural to have her there with all our family while we were getting ready. She made sure to capture the venue and both myself(the bride) and the groom getting ready. Throughout the day we barely noticed she was there and we love all the natural shots she captured of our guests enjoying our day. It didnt take long for Rebecca to edit our photos and when I asked if they could be ready for Mothers Day so we could share them with our Mothers, it was no problem at all and she had them all ready in time. We had lots of post wedding requests and Rebecca helped us with all of them, nothing seemed too much trouble and we really appreciated her understanding. We love our photos, going through them helps us relive the day. Rebecca is warm and lovely but also very professional. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Rebecca for capturing our day so beautifully.

I've been overwhelmed with the shear volume of beautiful pictures. You're worth you're weight in gold!! My only problem is trying to narrow down pictures for an album...... highly recommend!!!

What is your most memorable wedding?

20 years ago I just decided I wanted to be a photographer. I bought my first SLR for around £100, and never looked back. It turns out both my grand father and great grand father practised the art form, so maybe it's in the genes! ;o

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

I can already think of about 10 things but ...Heel stoppers for standing in grass are great!

What about your business are you most proud of?

omgosh, there have been so many. I couldn't pick just one!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

The feedback I receive from customers. It's so important to provide good customer service, and leave clients happy with images they will love, forever. Although I'm actually quite proud of how I'm able to fit so much into one day. Weddings are like marathons!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Rain on a wedding day can make for great photo's. A pair of wellies and some umbrella's plus a little shelter are all helpful. I've photographed MANY weddings in the rain, and I don't believe it is something to worry about.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

The whole day is just so personal, from the flowers to the gifts received and given, to the rings...each day is filled with personal and beautiful detail. This is something that I am focusing on capturing on every wedding day.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

I'd usually receive an enquiry by email, and respond this way. If the client is happy to discuss things further on the phone I will give them a call, or even a video call if they're feeling brave! Sometimes clients prefer to keep to email. If they would like to book I'd send over a booking form with a request for further information and with details for paying a deposit. I'd usually touch base with the couple before the big day to gather the final bits of information needed to photograph their wedding, although clients should feel free to get in touch at any point leading up to the wedding with any questions or information they'd like to share. If I've not covered a venue previously I will take a trip to look around before photographing the day. If I am travelling a long way to cover the wedding, I might set off the day before to view the venue.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Documentary, editing, story telling, creative, natural light

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

I think that what works for one couple may not always work for another. I do love a bit of confetti though! The bride, groom and guests loose their inhibitions, and the face expressions whilst the confetti is being thrown are so happy and natural

Describe how you got into photography.

Honestly, you can never just pick one photo!
