Full Description
I'm all about storytelling, capturing those candid and real moments. The tears, the laughter, the joy, the tenderness. The little moments that you do not see in what can be a whirlwind of a day. Your story captured in that moment and preserved forever for you to look back on. I'm Yorkshire based, God's Own Country. I regularly shoot in Leeds, York, Harrogate, Ilkley and elsewhere in the surrounding areas, but I am happy to travel throughout the UK, and would love to shoot destination weddings should you be getting married abroad.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Sam Chipman
I'm Sam, I'm a proud Yorkshireman; tea-drinking, flat cap wearing, cricket-loving. I trained as an actor, so I'm all about storytelling, capturing those candid and real moments. The tears, the laughter, the joy, the tenderness. The little moments that you do not see in what can be a whirlwind of a day. Your story captured in that moment and preserved forever for you to look back on. I get as excited about your wedding day as you do and will be there with you every step of the way.

What is your most memorable wedding?

My first ever wedding, it was a crisp autumn afternoon, and by the time the ceremony was completed its was dark, but the venue had a gorgeous tree which was lit by fairy-lights - it made for the most magical portraits.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Timeless, cinematic, relaxed, candid, memorable

What about your business are you most proud of?

How I get to share people's wedding day's with them.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make it personal, those unique little touches are what people remember. The best weddings are not always the biggest ones.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Having flower seeds as wedding favours, letting the love grow.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I always like to have a pre-wedding consultation, be that in person or via video call. On the day I work in a relaxed way, but I'm always there to be a helping hand. I'm on your side.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There are so many! But natural pictures where you are both just drinking in the significance of the day always make me tear up.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrella's - the really big clear ones are great.

Describe how you got into photography.

I first picked up a camera during my first summer break at drama school, I was bored and looking for a new project to kill some time - little did I know that it would turn into something more serious.
