What is your most memorable wedding?
my first will always be special, its the one that set me on my path, each of my weddings since are all special for different reasons. Cheryl & Gary had faith in me, id got no images to show them they booked me on blind faith and I will be forever grateful.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, genuine, real, natural, timeless
What about your business are you most proud of?
All of it, I started with nothing, I built my business myself, had help in the form of a mentor from the princes trust, went back to college and got myself a foundation degree
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
remember why your really doing this, planning a wedding together can be really frustrating at times, whether your arguing with each other family or friends.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
iv seen loads, I loved Laura and Garys spin on thier vows, as well as their vows to each other, they both made promises to Charlie their son. I loved that bit so much I had it added into my own wedding 6 months after!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
There is no typical process. Some clients are happy to pay a deposit before meeting me, others I meet in person to pay deposit and sometimes its like an interview and im aware they are seeing lots of people about the same thing, Im happy as long as my couples are happy!
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
you should always make time for just the two of you, your couples shots are normally the only time the two of you get to be alone, as much as you love your family send them away and have fun with just each other, its real and it will show
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
my very last wedding Hannah & Nathan, wanted to visit loved ones that had passed, so we were placing flowers at the gravesides and at the crematorium, they were lovely heartfelt images.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
umbrellas! no seriously even if its sunny a nice brolly can make a lovely image and during rain can give a lovely moody look. And patience waiting it out, can work wonders instead of cancelling the images be flexible and nip out later when the rain calms/stops
Describe how you got into photography.
Id started as usual on a mobile, when i earnt a bonus at my day job I took the plunge and bought my own camera
