What about your business are you most proud of?
That people choose me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives together. It's an absolute privilege every time.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Photography wise, get to know their personality as well as their photos! It's important to feel comfortable in front of them on the day, so pick someone that fits that for you. Wedding planning in general, be selfish. It's your day, do things how you want to and try not to think about everybody else. The most important thing is your happiness, always.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
To kick start an enquiry I normally go over my packages, ask what you are looking for and allow you to ask any questions you may have. Once you are happy, I take a 25% deposit to secure your date and pop you on my calendar. I'll then take a couple of details and put together a welcome pack sent via email within a few days. This is full of further information and some bits and bobs to help with your planning. Once it's all received, I'm here whenever you need me and look forward to meeting you on your special day. In the mean time, engagement shoots and pre wedding meet ups are more than welcome.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I always think a perfect couple portrait and group photos with those who mean the most are essential for any wedding - candid, un-posed, in the moment photos will always be my favourites though.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas on hand and sparkly wellies! Photos in the rain can actually be beautiful though, so don't let it bring you down.
