What is your most memorable wedding?
It has to be the wedding where all the groomsmen and most of the male guests stood up during the grooms speech, put on their aviators and came forward to sing 'you've lost that loving feeling' from Top Gun to the bride. She was howling with laughter - as were the guests and myself. It was hard to photograph because my hands were shaking from laughter.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
I don't know about 5 adjectives but I would say - relaxed with a hint of drama!
What about your business are you most proud of?
Offering affordable but exquisite images to couples.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
ALWAYS meet or FaceTime with your photographer before booking. Don't forget you will spend all of your wedding day with them so it's really important that you actually like them as well as believing that they will get you the photographs you will want to display and the memories you will want to remember.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After checking I have your date available, I will send you my brochure and arrange a FaceTime call so we can chat. It gives me a chance to find out about your wedding plans and for you to decide if I am the right person to photograph your wedding day. Following the call I will send you a contract and invoice. This is all done online for simplicity. I only ask for a £50 deposit to secure your date. Although I only offer one package, you can 'add a little extra' to your package should you wish- see my website for further details.
A little nearer the time I will contact you again, usually a FaceTime or face to face meet, so we can begin to plan your day. We may have several of these until we feel happy with the plans.
I am with you all day on your wedding day capturing images that will hold those special memories and details that you may have been planning for years.
Once I have personally edited your images I upload them onto your password protected gallery with permission for full download and printing. You can share this gallery with your family and friends. From this gallery you then select the images you would like for your acrylic fronted photobook. You also get to choose the fabrics and colours. Your photobook arrives in a acrylic image fronted box and with a USB of all your images.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Getting wet! You can take some amazing pictures in the rain.
