I offer two main photography packages . Both offer the same great photography coverage that is guaranteed to give you great images to cherish forever. No two couples are the same which is why all of my packages are bespoke, meaning things can be altered or adjusted to suit the needs of your wedding plans accordingly. I offer a relaxed and friendly approach, making photography fun and engaging for guests and the wedding couple alike. I'm happy to organise people for group shots and accommodating to any ideas you as a couple might have. Please email or call me to arrange a no obligation meeting. I prefer to meet the couples I'm going to be photographing well before the big day.
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Steve Smailes
Hello! Thank you for taking a look at my Bridebook profile. Planning your wedding requires everything to be perfect and in my opinion, a photographer is one of the most important things to find because it's one of the few physical things besides each other and the gifts from guests you will have to keep long after the big day. So choosing a good photographer is essential! Drop me a message to arrange a no obligation chat to learn more of what I offer. Thanks, Steve

What is your most memorable wedding?
Hard to nail down to one in particular. There are plenty of wonderful moments in every wedding. Each one is very personal to each couple and special in its own way.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Flexible, adaptive, documentary, bespoke, creative
What about your business are you most proud of?
When a couple sees the photos of their wedding for the first time and relive the day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember it's YOUR wedding so plan what you want to have.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
When the couple had Polaroid cameras for guests to pass around at the reception. The guests then stuck the polarioids into the guest book with a message to create a photo book of the evening.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples come for a first meeting where I explain my process and find about more about them and their plans. They sign an agreement and pay a deposit and we arrange a preshoot so they get a feel for being my subjects. We set times and a list of must have shots for their wedding before the big day. After the wedding we have another meeting to flick through the photos and hand over their own memory box to take home.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Some kind of group shot with everyone in. It doesn't have to have confetti in but it always makes for a great photo.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A couple once had a barge to take them from the wedding venue to the reception and I got to take photos on the barge which made for some special images.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and positive attitude. Rain presents a challenge but doesn't make a photo shoot impossible!
Describe how you got into photography.
I found my passion for creativity almost by accident while at school. I then had lots of work experience before I was getting my own work while still in university which neatly transitioned into setting up my business and getting to where I am now.
