Full Description
  • Documentary wedding photography means true story telling. No awkward poses or endless group shots. Each wedding is unique and by letting your day unfold naturally I can capture those small personal moments which are unique to your wedding. To really tell the story of your day you'll need a photographer who is there for the whole thing. I don't have limited hours packages or go home straight after the first dance. I start 3 hours before the ceremony and stay until at least 10pm. From morning Prosecco to grandma on the dance floor - I want to be there to capture it all.

    Name of Wedding Contact: Tom
Congratulations on your engagement. You've got a lot of big choices ahead of you as you plan your perfect day and picking the right photographer for you can be a daunting task. There's a lot of choice out there. If you don't like the idea of a fussy photographer demanding a constant array of poses then i'd love to talk to you about capturing your big day using my relaxed and natural style.

Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
Photographing at The Manor By The Lake in Cheltenham. A beautiful venue.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural. Modern. Discrete. Professional. Relaxed.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Starting and growing it myself.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Relax and enjoy it!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A shy bride and groom asking their guests to dance to their first dance song while they watched. It was a heavy metal song. Made for some great shots!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
A free, no obligation consultation before booking to get to know each other and go over the day and how it works. A complimentary pre-wedding shooting to is optional extra to get some relaxed photos of the two of you together and lose any camera nerves you might have. A catch up email 6 weeks before the wedding to touch base and double check all the details. My complete dedication on the day to capturing your wedding. Every picture personally edited to a high standard for quality and consistency and delivered to you within 4-6 weeks.
What is the #1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There's no one photo everyone should have. Every wedding is different, your photographs from the day should reflect that and not look like everyone else's.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I don't work from a shots list so I've not been asked to get anything particular, however, the most unusual picture I've taken was of a frog hoping away with a piece of confetti.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Just carry on and embrace it!
