What is your most memorable wedding?

It was a Winter wedding at Muncaster Castle with a lovely couple whose family and friends were all professional Surgeons. The best man was from famous Childrens TV programme and his speech was endless! The couple were very laid back and we had photographs with Owls, aswell as feeding the storks, it really was a fabulous day.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Friendly, fun, natural, stunning, emotional

What about your business are you most proud of?

I ran my business alongside bringing up my four beautiful children who inspired me along the way to make me realise the importance of your memories through photography.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy the planning together and don't get too stressed over the details.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

When both the Father and Grandfather walked the bride down the aisle, they swapped half way down, it was a very emotional moment.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I contact them via email, followed up by a meeting at my studio where we can have a coffee and a chat about your big day. I can then show you some sample albums and we can get to know each other a little more.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Something that captures the intimacy between the Bride and Groom, usually a beautiful black and white photograph does the trick.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A bride with her horse at the stables!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Definitely go out and get some stunning shots involving an umbrella. Do not let the rain stop you enjoying your day, especially if you have selected a venue for the outdoor location and scenery. Just bring some wellies along too so your Wedding shoes don't get ruined.

Describe how you got into photography.

I was working in full-time employment when I got pregnant with my first Daughter and I didn't want to leave her and return to work, so I took a career break for five years, set up my business and have never looked back! I now have a successful business that fits around my beautiful family and allows me the best of both worlds.
