Martin and Elaine photographed our wedding on 16 December 2023 at Achnagairn Estate in Inverness. What can I say - wow! Not only do we LOVE the pictures, Martin and Elaine were a real pleasure to work with. They were professional, friendly and stuck to our brief (lots of natural pictures of us and our guests). Within a few days of the wedding, we already had some teaser pics back and by the time I am writing this review (09 January 2024), we have the link to all of our previews. We are over the moon with the pictures- they capture the day perfectly and when we look at them, it takes us right back to how we were feeling in that moment. I'm so excited to sit down with Martin and Elaine and create our wedding album. Couldn't recommend Weir Photography enough! Thanks for everything!

What can I say about Weir Photography. Fantastic. A month before our wedding our photographer cancelled on us. With a call to Martin he actually moved his diary around to accommodate our big day. A pre wedding sit down in their studio, describing what was going to go on on the day, put our minds very much at ease. On the day the video and photographs went without a hitch; organised and professional. Post wedding day another sit down explained all album options and wow, the pictures were fantastic. All in all, pleasant, accommodating, professional , well priced. Use these guys and tell your friends.

We had the pleasure of having Martin capture our special day in August 2023. He was fantastic, all our guests commented on how professional he was and how amazing the pictures turned out. We met with Martin and Elaine at their studio a few times before the wedding to discuss details and communication with them was always quick, polite and efficient. Elaine took the time to help us design our wedding album after the big day, we were very impressed at how this turned out. Fantastic photographer, professional and well priced. Would highly recommend!

When choosing our photographer we wanted to go with only recommendations from people we knew. We knew 2 separate couple who both had their wedding photographed by Martin and couldn't say enough good things. We had met Martin and Elaine on two occasions before the wedding. It was good to put a face to a name and discuss how we would like our day mapped out. This made us feel more relax in their company as we were both a bit apprehensive about being infront of the camera. The big day rolled round and Martin had met up with my husband and the boys first and took some lovely shots of our quests arriving and the boys all together. Then met up with myself and my mum as we doing final touches upstairs took some beautiful shots of us together, moments I will never forget now. Martin was keeping me at ease and keeping me talking while the nerves were setting in which meant alot as a sort of distraction. Me and my husband had a small intimate wedding with only 20 guests so the images from the ceremony really mean alot to us as you can see each quests faces as we said I do. Finally we had our photos taken together as a now married couple. Myself and my husband were so relaxed infront of the camera and the results showed. We are so incredibly happy and overjoyed with the photographs. So much so we are in the process of working with Elaine in getting our photographers put into a gorgeous album that we had been shown previously. We can not wait to receive this it will be like seeing our preview images for the first time again. We 100% recommend weir photography 📸

Since booking Martin to photograph our wedding, he has been fantastic. Excellent communication and he took the time to do a video call to go through some of his portfolio. We then had an engagement shoot and got a glimpse of what he can do. On our wedding day, Martin made sure we got to enjoy our day while also getting our photos taken. He was incredibly patient with us and our guests, broke the ice and made everyone feel so comfortable. Throughout the day, he gave us a few sneak peeks at some of the photos and we really appreciated this. It’s only been a few days since our wedding and Martin has already given us some pictures from our special day and what can I say? They are stunning. He made us all feel so beautiful and we are eternally grateful for him capturing our dream wedding.
