Be the first one to tell everyone about the experience you’ve had with this supplier.
What is your most memorable wedding?
Our niece's wedding following a hefty sprinkling of snow with a full morning worth on the day. Some of the guests were scratching their heads and asking, why is he lying in the snow? It was worth it for the pictures that we got.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
documentary, traditional, fusion, fun, relaxed
What about your business are you most proud of?
The fact that people book us because they want to work with us as individuals
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure that you get wedding insurance. It is often forgotten that vendors coverage if anything goes astray, burst pipes etc, rarely covers incidental expenses such as other vendors charges.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
a selection of wedding details handmade by the groom. Great because noone else has them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
A meeting first to discuss the venue and details of the wedding. This is usually followed by email communications until closer to the wedding date when we send a questionaire to complete the timeline of the day. If the couple are marrying in church we will visit for the rehearsal if possible to meet the main people involved and also the officiant to discuss their rules and requirements.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It's got to be the first kiss, that is the moment that they realise that they are actually married now.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The bride with her cardboard cut out of Idris Elba!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
brollys and a touch of craziness, don't be afraid to get outside and get the pictures that you want.
Describe how you got into photography.
Both of us started as children with hand me down cameras and that was followed by the inevitable chain of expenses that all photographers go through with upgrades to equipment over the years whilst photographing a variety of subjects in film days.
