White Thistle Wedding Photography was founded by Simon Fox, working along with Craig-James Moncur. We are two creatives who have been working in film and photography for years, and as such we are able to bring a passion and talent for capturing beautiful imagery, chronicling your important day in a way that is cinematic. Want an epic engagement or wedding shoot that will make everyone look at in awe? We know the best locations for that. Want a fun shoot to show off your quirky and geeky side? You're talking to the ultimate geeks here. Our service is not just professional, it's fun and its designed to help you. As you can see from our pictures we will provide photographic memoirs that are every bit as important to you as they are to us. In addition to excellent photography, you will also receive beautiful mementos of your wedding in a lovely wedding album book, a selection of prints chosen by you in which to frame, and a stylish USB jar which not only contains the digital images of your wedding but also is a cute addition to your collection of keepsakes and presents to display.

Mavisbank St, Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, ML6 0JA, Scotland
I have a car and clean driver's license, so I am able to come to you. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Scotland, and the North of England, though as I am based in the Central Belt travel expenses may be included in the price if the distance is considerable.
What is your most memorable wedding?
I'd have to say my own, I mean I think I have to say that! But having gone through it myself, I know exactly how it feels and so that makes it easier for me to understand your thoughts, feelings and needs.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Epic, beautiful, stunning, fun, cinematic
What about your business are you most proud of?
The images themselves, you have to love your work after all!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
This is your day, so do it how you want to, not how others want you to.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I saw a cupcake wedding cake once, that was very different and made for a much easier time of everyone getting a piece!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We'll sit down, have a good chat and get to know each other, find out exactly what it is you're looking for and guide you through the whole process. We'll keep in touch on the lead up to the day, and ensure that you have a lot less to worry about.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Just the two of you, relaxed, happy and enjoying the day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Later in the night, while the couple were slightly more relaxed through copious amounts of alcohol, we were on a large ship which had a giant unicorn statue. And so the couple wanted an extremely serious photo alongside this very ostentatious statue. They now have that one framed in their home.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Colourful umbrellas! Make the most of the weather, we live in the UK after all! But that doesn't mean we can't still have fun with it.
Describe how you got into photography.
It started as a hobby, I liked to take pictures of the places I went to, and as I progressed I realised that I had an eye for it, and started to grow. Before long I was being approached with offers of payment for my photos or to take them!
