Bridefayre Full Description
As a professional project planner I fully understand the importance of dealing with professional suppliers who, like myself, have a passion for quality weddings, the importance of clear and concise communications and open and honest working relationships. My very first wedding was in 1984 and since then I have attended over 1500 wedding events in one capacity or another. I currently organise up to 30 wedding fayres a year and act as host for YOUR wedding, ensuring everything happens as it should on the day. You only plan to have one wedding, there are no second chances, we need to get it right that one time.

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

Difficult to nail my most memorable but up there is one where I was the ONLY paid supplier, the event co-ordination meant that the friends and family who provided all the services as wedding gifts, worked seamlessly together and allowed the love to shine through.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Calm, Humourous, methodical, flexible, pragmatic.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My staff, every business is graded only by the service level they offer and the staff that deliver it.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Paperwork - Write it all down, get hard copy receipts, paper contracts and signatures. Only a fool trusts a PM as an agreement of service.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The Bride sang a love song to her partner just before the first dance, so moving.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

There is no typical, all weddings and all couples are individuals. We meet, we chat online, we phone, we meed some more, we drink coffee, we laugh and we plan. we do it in a way that suits the clients.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

A surprise "our story" slideshow during the speeches complete with projector, hidden screen, animations and photos of the wedding not 1 hour earlier.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Communication and coffee.

What do you love most about your job?

The clients, they make me smile, I'm an emotional vampire feeding off their love and positivity!

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

The bride walking in for the first time, followed closely by the Bride and groom making an entrance
