What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love personal details at a wedding, whether its table runners made up of the pages of your favourite book, or wearing shocking pink shoes because its your favourite colour, personal details are the elements no one else can replicate, they're all yours.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We usually begin with an initial consultation to discuss where you are in the stages of your wedding planning, your vision and budget. During the meeting we will go through each aspect of your wedding, developing key ideas and pin pointing wow factors, and I will help you design every visual aspect of your big day. The meeting will usually include the bouncing of ideas, colour palettes, and TONS of inspiration, plus the odd cup of tea and piece of cake here and there! Initial consultations are free of charge and there is no obligation to book at this point. - After our meeting I take on board everything we have discussed and will create a personal Pinterest board for you with everything you envision for your day for you to view. - Once you have booked your wedding styling with us I will then create a concise final mood-board with key details and words to send to your suppliers so that they can easily see exactly what you need, and from there we will progress to the full planning of your wedding! What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I'm the most organised person and have a relaxed attitude, but things do go wrong at wedding sometimes. Traffic, suppliers, sometimes it can't be helped. My job is to make sure my couples aren't stressed by being their person, the person that knows what's happening and plans for the unexpected, so that the wedding party can carry on and leave the details to me!
What do you love most about your job?
Every couple that comes to me have a different vision for their wedding, I love that every day is a different journey through the happiest times of peoples lives!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the groom first sees the bride, isn't that every ones?
