Full Description
The moment you say your vows will be etched in your mind forever. I'll make sure you remember it for the right reasons. Looking for something a bit different, more relaxed, more personal, not your average stuffy ceremony? I can help. I'll work with you to coordinate a completely unique and beautiful ceremony giving you the Big Day you dream of. I love incorporating couples' ideas into the ceremony and can offer as much or as little guidance as you'd like. I have a diploma in family celebrancy, a degree in journalism and a career in content production, which leave me well equipped to tell your story in an engaging, impactful way. What’s more, if you need additional support to plan your wedding, I can offer advice, put you in touch with suppliers and generally be a sounding board for any thoughts you might have.

A rare talent
From the first time we discussed our ideas I knew we were in safe hands. Niki had plenty of great suggestions and shared her experience of what tends to work well. But at no stage did we feel pushed into anything that wasn't our choice. We really did get to shape our own ceremony. Somehow Niki brought together our scrambled thoughts into a coherent and touching story that gave added meaning to the whole event. On the day itself, Niki was an oasis of calm amidst the chaos! She put everybody at ease with her beautiful voice and relaxed manner. We couldn't have been happier: Niki, you have a rare gift - thank you for everything!

A touching and personal ceremony
Niki wrote the most beautiful, touching and personal ceremony for our son’s naming ceremony. Her lovely persona and soft lilting accent made her delivery of the ceremony and working with her a genuine pleasure! So many of our guests came up to me and commented on how impressed they were with our lovely and talented celebrant. Thank you Niki for making the day so special for us.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, unique, alternative, friendly, professional

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm most proud when couples thank me for telling their love story beautifully and when their guests come up to say how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Ceremonies are often seen as 'the boring bit' by guests but I specialise in keeping them entertained as much as ensuring that the couple are happy.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Create the memories that you want to have. It's your Big Day and you can do whatever you like, don't worry about what others think. Don't be afraid to have fun.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Step 1. You get in touch. We talk about what you'd like, I tell you more about what to expect. Step 2. We meet in person or Skype and I gather details that help me to build the ceremony. Step 3. I do a first draft of the ceremony and then we run through it and firm up the details. I can read it through or keep the wording secret until the wedding (your choice). Step 4. If you choose to, and at a time that suits you, we hold a rehearsal. Step 5. Your Big Day! I'll never double book on a single day - I'm all yours. So whatever hiccups might occur, you can be sure your ceremony will go ahead.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

My favourite moment is when you catch a shared joke between the couple. Seeing how much they love each other as they connect smiling eyes is priceless. I'm a believer in 'meant to be' and at that moment you can tell they're just that.
