Full Description
If you are looking for something special and unique for your big day then read on. I write and present completely bespoke ceremonies for each and every couple. This means that once I have met with you and discussed your needs and wishes I write from scratch based on your unique story. This makes for a very special and personal ceremony that you and your guests will remember. We can add rituals or a symbolic action to suit you too - whether it be a candle lighting, sand ceremony, smashing a glass for example. I encourage you to ask someone close to you to participate by reading some poetry or an excerpt from a book. I can help you chose something suitable to match your personality and the feel for your ceremony. Why not have a go at writing your own vows to each other. These can be kept a secret until the big day and of course I can help you with suggestions along the way. You have full input throughout the whole process and will receive email drafts for your approval, tweaked to your requirements until you are happy with the finished result. Please call me to discuss your ideas and requirements.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Wow this is difficult to answer as each and every wedding is unique to the couple. Generally I just love that each ceremony I deliver really emphasises the couple and what makes them unique

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, Friendly, Bespoke, Professional, Passionate

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of the feedback I receive, especially when couples comment that I really understand their needs and what makes them tick.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Stay true to yourself and your vision and pick suppliers who can match your vision. Ask the suppliers you have already chosen to perhaps recommend like minded contacts to you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I personally love when pets are included, I am a doggie person so to have your best friend a part of your ceremony is always a special touch for me.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I meet every couple face to face (or at the very least on skype) and we have a good informal chat to take down all the details and content for your ceremony. The couple will receive regular scripts to approve along the process until they are happy with the full script. If the couple have chosen to write their own vows to each other these are kept secret so I liaise with each individual to get these in to place.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Before the day I speak with your venue staff, photographer and videographer and introduce myself and run through any details they may need to know. I arrive at the venue an hour before the ceremony is due to start so that I can be sure everything is perfect for you. I also try my best to speak to both of you before we start just to calm nerves and give you my reassurance that all is ready.

What do you love most about your job?

Take your time to pick your suppliers, check out their reviews, their social media and talk to them making sure you get all your questions answered. Try not to get bogged down pleasing everyone - this is impossible, plan the day the way you want it to be and politely tell others this is what will make you happy.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

Always the moment just before the couple leave the ceremony! Suddenly the nerves are gone and the realisation that they've done it is a very emotional part.
