Hello, I’m Martina Paul, a Wedding planner & coordinator at Wonderful Events by Martina Paul. APPROACH I believe every couple is different and has a unique style, unique life, and unique circumstances. Therefore I offer flexible wedding planning services, bespoke wedding packages, and tailor-made weddings. The celebrations are then created for each couple, modern, and truly reflecting couples’ wishes. I will always want you to be creative, ensure you have a stress-free wedding planning journey and make sure you get your perfect wedding day! STYLE I love rolling hills of the Cotswolds, natural materials, and lots of flowers. Therefore I tend to style and design English countryside inspired weddings & events, with modern touches and the latest decor. A mix of a rustic romance and a classic elegance. So if you are looking for a lovely barn, a marquee, or a traditional Manor wedding, then I am your wedding planner... My experience lies in the wedding industry and spans over 15 years. I will provide you with support, clarity, and reassurance on our wedding planning journey. We will work together using my experience, knowledge, and an open mind towards trying new things. I offer flexible wedding planning services because I believe that every couple deserves a stress-free planning journey and their perfect wedding day. Wonderful Events was launched five years ago and it has been a great journey and privilege to be part of so many beautiful events. I only work with high-quality venues, wedding coordinators, and suppliers. I am there for my clients from the very first meeting, through to the choosing of the venue, cake, hair & makeup artist, photographer, to serving the first and last glass of champagne of Your wedding day. "I cannot Thank Martina enough for all her help In planning mine & Paul’s wedding. We Only gave ourselves three months to plan therefore poor Martina only had three months also. I cannot believe how amazingly Fast this wonderful lady got it all completed. I was worried about having a wedding planner, I’ve heard stories where they basically take over the wedding. Lovely wedding ceremony
Martina was recommended to us by our wedding venue when we were looking for a celebrant to conduct our outdoor wedding in August. We didn't really know what to expect of a celebrant, we just knew that we wanted a ceremony completely personal to us. Martina did not disappoint and we are so incredibly happy she conducted and wrote our service for us. From our initial meeting to the day itself, it was like catching up with a friend over a coffee to talk all things about our wedding, and she had great advice for the whole day as well as the service, which was invaluable. She wrote our ceremony script for us and helped us tweak it so it was personal, and captured exactly the right tone and what we wanted to say to one another in front of our family and friends. Describe your typical process with a couple.

We start with a relaxed meeting over a cup of tea where I get to know the couple and they get to know me. I listen to what the dream is and make the first suggestions. I would then send the first Proposal to the couple where we agree on the services included and on the deposit, and the overall price. Different couples require a different level of services so Please do get in touch for your quote. Once we have the proposal and agreement in place I start working on the detailed schedule and my checklist. We meet at various stages of the wedding planning, when viewing the venues, meeting the suppliers, in the final weeks, and on the wedding day. I would then coordinate the wedding day from the morning until the first dance.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Find an owl to bring the rings.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

I have all under control and a back up plan in a pocket :)
