What is your most memorable wedding?
I once had a bride on roller skates!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Sam is professional, supportive, calm under pressure, & will take the time to ensure that everyone involved in the wedding is comfortable within their role.
What about your business are you most proud of?
That I get to help couples celebrate their love in whatever way is important to them.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Listen to the advice from the experts who have done this before and let them help guide your decisions.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
For one outside wedding that I conducted. The bridesmaids didn’t carry flowers. They carried the couples tiny dogs down the aisle instead! They looked so cute!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Many of my couples start with saying that they have no idea when to begin so are looking for direction, advice and support. Reassurance is key that even if you are unsure of what to do that I have it all in hand, and I will support and advise you both during the lead up to the wedding day with as much guidance and suggestions as you need.
I initially talk through the rough structure of a ceremony and then am on hand to encourage you to share with me your personal story for me to compose into your unique script. I choose to do this in the style of a questionnaire that can be filled out in your own time. I only need one questionnaire in order to get started on your ceremony, so don’t feel that you have to wait for your fiancé to finish theirs!
Further down the planning line I am also that all important impartial party who can read each person’s personalised vows and help coach them until they balance in length and content.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
You may not have gotten married before, but trust in my experience and knowledge to support you on this exciting journey, I’ve worked on hundreds of weddings.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
For me its when the bride walks down the aisle, it's a goosebump moment every time!
