- I am available to act as your wedding Toastmaster at any venue in Norfolk, Suffolk and indeed throughout East Anglia and the UK. For any event your toastmaster is a very important link both prior to and during the event. My role is to ensure everything flows smoothly from start to finish. You will spend many hours planning and may be anxious that nothing goes wrong. As soon as you have secured my services we will meet to talk through the initial planning of your special day. My training with the Association of the UK School of Professional Toastmasters, will enable me to ensure the correct procedures and etiquette are observed. At your wedding I will be on hand with my friendly but professional approach to guide you and your guests through the whole day. My presence will remove the stress and pressure of “hoping everything will be OK”. Everyone will be able to relax and thoroughly enjoy the occasion. I will also keep your guests entertained with the rhymes I use to introduce everything. For example, when inviting the guests into the wedding breakfast - " 'Tis time for you to take your seat in the stunning Sunningdale Suite. If you're not sure which chair is yours the table plan is by the doors." I also have a few other 'tricks' up my sleeve! Watch the video on my website to get a flavour of my style. On the wedding page of my website you will find much to help you in your planning. There is also a drop down box with my helpful hints, guide to the speeches and wedding day timings. There is a list of various venues I have worked at and recommend. On the friends page there are many wedding suppliers who will be pleased to help you. I also attend many local wedding shows so do come and meet me at one of them. Details are on the events page of my website. Please do not hesitate to contact me so that we can discuss your plans for your very special day and I look forward to meeting or hearing from you soon. Toastmaster Bob

What is your most memorable wedding?
December 2014 at Voewood in Norfolk. After successfully completing my toastmaster duties I donned my Father Christmas outfit (I work in various Grotto's in Norfolk) and distributed gifts from the Bride & Bridegroom to all their guests.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Friendly, Informal, diplomatic, efficient, fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The reputation I have built with other wedding suppliers and many of the happy couples I have had the honour of serving.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Timing of events throughout the day and having someone take responsibility for running everything to time is the key. You can relax and thoroughly enjoy the occasion - this is why you need a toastmaster!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The favours for each guest were a book that pertained to their particular interests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once a booking is confirmed we have an initial meeting to discuss their plans for the day. I advise on the order and timing of events. I am then available 24/7 should they need more advice before we have a final meeting to dot the i's and cross the t's a month before the day. I am of course available throughout the wedding day to make sure all runs smoothly and iron out any last minute problems.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
There are unusual features about most weddings. Every wedding may seem the same but each one is unique. The family were unsure how to give out the favours which would take up to much space on the tables. This is when I suggested completing the day as Father Christmas to give the favours (a book) to each guest.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
This is my role as toastmaster. I ensure that everything happens when it should and relieve the Bride & Bridegroom (and mother of the bride) of the pressure and stress of the day so that they can relax and enjoy themselves.
What do you love most about your job?
Making the Bride & Bridegroom's day!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
When the bridesmaid caught the bouquet and her partner came over and proposed. They then booked me for their wedding the following year.
