- Wedding couples tell me that my services provide much more than the ‘traditional’ wedding toastmaster functions (making announcements, introducing speakers and so on). You can see their comments on my websites. My services are dedicated to you on and before your special day - and, as your wedding toastmaster, I will give you the balance of formality, tradition and pure fun that you want. Planning a wedding (and taking part in it!) is very exciting – but it can also be stressful. As your wedding toastmaster, I aim to remove that stress so that you can relax and enjoy being with your family and friends.I offer a modern approach to your requirements, which can include a wider range of duties than you might imagine. I am there to make sure things run exactly as you planned them. The ceremonial red tailcoat is still a main feature, as are any other traditional customs you might want, such as: Welcoming guests, handling presents, making announcements, organising the receiving line, hosting the cake-cutting ceremony, introducing (and reassuring!) your wedding speech-makers and, if appropriate, announcing the first dance. As your wedding celebrant, , I will give you the ceremony you want, in the style you want it, where you want it and at the time you want it. You choose the venue - home, garden, beach, pub, marquee, boat, historic site, woodland, sports field, hot air balloon, whatever You choose the timing - daytime, night-time, by candlelight or by moonlight. You can register your marriage quickly and cheaply at a registry office and then, sometime later, let me help you get the wedding ceremony you have dreamt of. I look forward to speaking to you.

What is your most memorable wedding?
The most recent. I always have good memories of my wedding events and the 'most recent' is usually in the forefront of my mind. I follow up by making sure the bride and groom are totally happy with the service they received; I'll help make sure the guests add photos to wedpics (or whatever) - and, I spend time making my couple a personalised memento bottle. See www.mementobottles.co.uk
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
personable, humorous, calm, experienced, supportive
What about your business are you most proud of?
Happy client responses
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan what YOU want (whilst considering other family members, of course)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Warm support for a nervous or tearful speechmaker
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We'll chat on the phone and in due course meet. If I am to be celebrant, I'll give an outline of the ceremony 'script' and we'll bounce it back and forth (with as much input from me as needed) until the couple are happy. As toastmaster (and celebrant too) I'll meet the couple at the wedding reception location and, together with location staff, make sure all the logistics are sorted. I'll give speech advice if needed.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
Choreographed music performance (unknown to bride and groom) by wedding guests. Entrance of bride and groom by paddle board across lake!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
By being 'ahead of the game' and anticipating what should be happening every step along the way.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the joy in faces of the couple and wedding party. The laughter.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Every moment is special. I don't have a single favourite one.
