Simply Ceremonies Uk Full Description
Are you considering a ceremony which is personalised, fun, memorable and all about you as a couple? With an Independent celebrant, the ceremony is created and written based on your personal beliefs and choices. Using a Celebrant means that your wedding ceremony can be held absolutely anywhere, at any time and there are no rules or restrictions on the wording, music choice or content of your wedding ceremony. (Nb - a legal marriage registration ceremony, if required, must be held separately) Karina and the team at Simply Ceremonies will work with you to create your perfect ceremony. This may be as traditional as you want ( or not), and can include cultural traditions, a fusion of religious and spiritual elements, modern readings and quotes from your favourite books or song lyrics. We work at many of Kent's top venues including Lympne Castle, Westenhanger castle, The Old Kent barn, Hayne house, Hythe Imperial hotel, The Red barn at Capel Le Ferne, St Augustines Priory, Bilsington, Swarling Manor, Rowhill Grange, Greenwich yacht club, Longton Woods and so many more. We are also experienced in outdoors weddings and have created ceremonies for couples who have wanted to use woodland, beaches, fields and private back gardens. If you are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and passionate celebrant, please contact Karina at Simply Ceremonies today on 07970 513715 or by emailing [email protected]

Summer Festival wedding
Hi Karina I know we spoke on the day, but can I again say a huge thank you for making Sam and Charlie’s ceremony so special. We couldn’t have asked for anything more especially as they were also blessed with fabulous weather. Thanks so much, D

We had Karina do our ceremony in August and would highly recommend her. She has a genuine interest in you and in giving you the ceremony you want. She made us feel at ease and I actually enjoyed the ceremony because of her, even though I was dreading getting through it beforehand. Thank you x

If you are looking for a professional, friendly and personal celebrant, look no further. From the moment we met Karina she put us at ease and we felt like old friends. Karina spent the time getting to know us both and what we wanted for our ceremony. The inclusion of the “First kiss, last kiss” with our Mums was something she suggested and us something neither us or our guests will forget in a hurry. (Not a dry eye in the house) Karina’s attention to detail and personal touches were amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed, and we weren’t worrying on the day. Karina is a true professional but also a lovely, kind and thoughtful celebrant and our ceremony wouldn’t have been the same without her. Thank you Karina for making our day so special x

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your most memorable wedding?

All of our weddings have been different and therefore memorable, however, one which stands out was a wedding at Lympne castle for an Australian Athiest bride and an American, Jewish groom. This wedding was a test of great research skills and was the perfect Non-religious, Spiritual Wedding ceremony with Handtying and Jewish cultural elements. Great fun!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Friendly, Creative, Fun, Passionate, Enthusiastic,

What about your business are you most proud of?

My team! A group of amazing, creative celebrants who look after their couples, giving them choice, excellent customer service and a wonderful and memorable ceremony.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Research your wedding suppliers and when you find someone who is perfect for you, book them before someone else does.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One wedding I created involved 6 sets of guests to stand up during the ceremony to give their tips for what makes a great marriage. This involved parents who had been married for 40 years aswell as friends with only 6 months experience. It was very emotional, yet incredibly funny.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We normally meet you over coffee as it's very important that we like each other as the ceremony is incredibly personal to create. After we are booked, we use a detailed questionnaire to ensure we cover all ideas, personal information and wishes/requests. We research, create & write the ceremony including everything the couple send us to include. We offer a rehearsal as part of our inclusive fee and provide all readings and vows on printed card along with a keepsake folder which can include the final script and a certificate which can be signed and witnessed if you wish.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

I was asked to include a child-naming ceremony for the couples 3 little tots within the main wedding ceremony. So this involved bridesmaids, best men and God parents plus 3 little ones who were dressed as fairies running around the ceremony room.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

We build a strong relationship with my couples and arrive at least 45 mins before the wedding is due to start so I can help meet and greet everyone including the venue team and booked suppliers, just making sure everything is ready and you have the best ceremony ever!

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

When our couples say their personal vows to each other. Often created in secret from one another and incredibly emotional with a touch of personality thrown in.
