What about your business are you most proud of?
I am proud that in nearly 20 years I have become an established go to jeweller who is able to hand made every single item of jewellery that you will need for your wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your wedding rings should last a lifetime and are the most meaningful part of your wedding. The circle of the ring is a symbol for everlasting love.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My jewellery is presented in a personalised box foil printed with your own special message to your wedding party, so you can show your special people who much they mean to you.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When the couple arrives at my studio, they are greeted with a hot drink and a biscuit. They are then shown around the studio and the processes they will be using to make their wedding rings will be demonstrated. I will be there for every process of the ring-making to ensure that their bands are beautiful and a perfect fit.
What are your favourite wedding traditions for rings?
I love that many couples choose to make each other's rings which makes the whole process more meaningful.
What is the most romantic engraving you have seen on a wedding ring?
I love it when couples choose secret messages to each other that they only see on the day of the wedding. There is much whispering going on in the studio when this happens!
Which ring do you think holds most significance for a bride?
I think the wedding ring should stay on the finger permanently as a symbol of their eternal love.
What is your favourite proposal story?
I always love a proposal on the beach because the Cornish coastline holds such an important place in my own heart.
