Full Description
With over 15 years experience of making wedding rings Roz from Rosalyn's Emporium is well placed to teach you to make your own. The experience day is aimed at a beginner level so ideal for all couples who love the idea of hand making their own or partner's wedding ring. Roz will guide you through each step using a silver sample ring to demonstrate on, allowing you to try each technique before applying to your own wedding ring. You can make wedding rings directly in 9ct, 18ct, yellow, white or rose gold or silver. Platinum or palladium wedding rings will be made by you in silver first & then cast in your chosen metal after the experience day. You can also recycle your own gold & gems to make into new jewellery. Engraving, stone setting, black or white rhodium plating are all additional extras. During the experience day there is normally time to make up to 4 bridal party gifts such as pendants or cuff-links. If you want to make something else please do ask for advice & it will be accommodated if possible. Following a consultation with Roz you will be provided with a quote tailored to your specific needs & budget. Included in the experience day rate is one-to-one tuition, one silver sample ring, 20-30 photos of you making the rings, one leather ring box, light refreshments, a bottle of champagne & locally hand-made chocolates to take home & enjoy at your leisure. In addition to the experience day rate is the cost for the materials to make your wedding rings & any additional extras or bridal party gifts you wish to make. Refer to Rosalyn's Emporium website for current cost examples & experience day rate. If you don't fancy making them yourself Roz offers a bespoke jewellery service for wedding rings & other jewellery pieces. Rosalyn's Emporium is based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Conveniently Chesham is at the end of the Metropolitan tube line if travelling via London & a short distance from the M1, M25 & M40 if travelling by road.

Bored of the bog standard...give Roz a buzz.
“A friend of mine and her husband had made their own wedding rings and I thought this was a lovely idea. I did some research on a couple of places and we found Roz’ Emporium via Bridebook.com. We arrived at her workshop and immediately liked Roz. She is positively lovely and made us feel welcome straight away. I have to admit that was a little nervous about the possibility of wrecking what would normally be a regular wedding ring and she really put me at ease. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Her workshop is really original and more personal than a more mainstream impersonal place. Taking a simple sheet of metal and creating our own design was fantastic. She walked us through every step of the process and gave us ideas on how we could make something a little different. It suited me down to the ground because I tend to like my jewellery to be more original. We had so much fun and got to know her well over the process. She also helped us make some cufflinks for the father of the bride. We actually started making the rings on quite a tight timeline and she managed to get them to us with 1 week to spare before we had to travel up North for our wedding. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to make their own bespoke jewellery or wedding rings with the guidance of a friendly, original and a real expert to contact Roz. It really was a fun and amazing experience. She is really chatty too and offers copious amounts of tea and biccies. My wedding ring is truly original and fits perfectly around my engagement ring. I have had so many comments about how original and me it is. She offers anything from the more traditional type of ring to something a little different. If you’re bored of the bog standard and want your personality to shine through your jewellery, you should give Roz a buzz."

Super friendly and deservedly bookings are filling fast!
So I feel in love with this lady’s business plan and her personality when I met her earlier in the year, then took my fiancée to meet her last month as a prelim to engaging her services. Got our consultation and workshop dates all booked in and then she goes an announces she’s been nominated for yet another national award! Just proves we’ve chosen the right person to help us make our own rings and be unique. She’s super patient with our booking conversation, very quick response and the world appears to be our oyster for our plans ahead. So looking forward to our time in her studio. #wefoundagoodone #excited #buddingstar #weddingartist #makingmemories #uniquepieces #notoffthepeg #jeweller #tpr14620 #countmyvote

the most lovely and trustworthy people
I couldn't recommend Rosalyn's Emporium enough. Throughout the journey of creating my wedding ring Roz was so attentive, listened to what I wanted and my ideas and vision and helped to make that a reality whilst offering expert advice. After our initial consultation I knew I wouldn't find a better person to create my ring and after collecting it today I am so pleased! Roz is one of the most lovely and trustworthy people I have met and you will have a fantastic experience as she makes you feel completely at ease!

-she is very, very good at this. Trust her!
We came to Roz having been gifted vouchers from my parents - my engagement ring is quite a unique shape and we knew we'd need a ring designed regardless. I was very hesitant before we met, as I thought that if we made our rings, they wouldn't look very good at all. I couldn't have been more wrong..! From the start, Roz spent a lot of time with us going over our concerns and guiding us with her wealth of experience as to what would & wouldn't be possible - we also didn't really know yet what we wanted, and Roz was incredibly patient and helpful by showing us samples both physically and with photos. It was a difficult process to match the exact profile of my engagement ring, but it was very important to me they look like a set. Roz was amazing, very honest and her technical knowledge is the key element here - she advised me to leave the silver ring larger so that we wouldn't lose the tight wishbone shape through the usual hammering (to stretch the size after being cast). We were also able to leave options open for the future - if I want to add stones, engravings or texture, it's still possible. We worked in silver which took a lot of nerves away before the platinum versions were cast - and Roz was there every step of the way, making sure I didn't ruin anything but still managing to let me truly make the ring by myself as much as possible - she is very, very good at this. Trust her! We are so very excited to wear our rings, and would recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you so much Roz.

Adds so much more meaning to our wedding rings.
An amazing experience, such a fantastic idea to allow people to make their own rings. We were thinking of having bespoke rings but as soon as I met Ros I knew we had to make them! It adds so much more meaning to our wedding rings. The experience day was fantastic, we were quite adventurous with what we wanted to achieve as although our rings were relatively simple we were eager to make gifts as well. Ros is very welcoming and so easy to get on with, she leads you through every stage very patiently. Although I am usually the creative one and my fiance, never having done anything creative in his life, really enjoyed it and was probably better than me. This not only makes the most important bit of jewellery we will ever own so much more special, it has given us lovely memories from the whole day, especially with all the progress photos that Roz takes throughout the day.

It has to be my own I think. Our wedding day was relaxed with a lot of details hand-made by ourselves or family & this reflects in our handmade engagement & wedding rings which I made for us.
