What about your business are you most proud of?
Each and every wedding that I've had the chance to be a part of. Couple's trust me with one of the biggest days of their lives - I couldn't be more proud!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy every second of it - you don't need to spend a fortune to impress everybody, simple can be just as beautiful as those 'perfect' weddings you see in magazines. Every wedding is meant to be different so enjoy your planning, don't stress about finances - look out for bargains, dress sales, flower sales - everywhere has a sale at some point! And enjoy your big day and life together!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
For stationery - I start by producing a sample, I then send a form to be completed with all of the necessary details on and create a proof. Once the couple approve this I get to work whenever they're booked in the diary.
For venue decor - I discuss either online or face to face your vision for the day, contact a few weeks before to confirm everything and then a couple of days before the big day to provide insurance certificates etc and check the final details.
For planning and on the day services - I will either speak to you by phone or face to face initially, take a deposit for the services and book it in the diary. 3-4 weeks before the big day we then meet up to discuss the final details and agree a full schedule for the day that'll be executed on the day for you.
All appointments are flexible to when they suit you.
All bookings require a 20% deposit and then full payment before stationery is dispatched or full payment 7 days before the event if it's a hire product or on the day service
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invitations give a general feel of your big day. To me, they're the most important aspect. Don't worry about the colour not being the exact shade as your decor or bridesmaid dresses (nobody will have their invites at the actual wedding to compare), but do make sure the overall feel of your big day is incorporated into your invitations - whether rustic, glam, simple, overseas, fun, formal - your guests should be able to find out all about your day from the minute the invitation arrives.
What is your best seller?
My best sellers tend to vary, at the beginning of the year everybody wanted laser cut wedding invitations; however over the last few months my customers cannot get enough of the rustic look invitations. Whatever your style, I create everything from scratch so will be able to incorporate your ideas and make your vision a reality.
