What is your most memorable wedding?

D&N at Aswarby Rectory in 2019; the couple had such a creative eye and wanted lots of thoughtful touches including personalised tambourines for all the guests which acted as place settings, eco cotton personalised kit bags for overnight guests, and a beautiful table plan inked by hand on handmade paper they had sourced on holiday in Nepal.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Playfully handwritten and conscious design

What about your business are you most proud of?

I have worked on some wonderful personalisation projects and branding design jobs too, I feel so lucky to work with couples who want to inject their personalities and really unique elements into their day on the stationery and signage front.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't do what you think you SHOULD do or what is expected of you, your wedding day should be a reflection of what you love and care about most.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Definitely personalised gifts as place settings.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After an initial email from the couple, I would ask for inspiration images to gauge a better understanding of what they wish to achieve for their day, put together some costs and if they wish to go ahead, reserve the time in my diary to complete along with arranging an invoice to pay 50% deposit to secure the time. The remaining sum will need to be paid before I start working on their order, at which point we will arrange a mutually agreeable delivery date and recipient.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

Every couple is different so this is a difficult question to answer, but my feeling would be a guest book of some sort to record your guests.

What is your best seller?

Place cards.

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

Through getting to know the couple.
