Full Description
Hi, I’m Kim Stewart and I love to help brides and grooms to have the wedding of their dreams. Do you already have a firm idea of what you want for your wedding stationery? Or perhaps you need some ideas? Whatever the situation, I’m here to help. My grandfather was an artist, working mainly in oils, regrettably I did not inherit his ability to draw and paint. However I love being creative in other ways. I have a dedicated office/workshop at home where I have a large stock of beautiful high quality paper and cardstock, ribbons and embellishments. We use top quality and unusual card & paper, Grade A rhinestone buckles and embellishments, genuine Swarovski crystals, gorgeous ribbons and flowers to make your invitations reflect your taste and style. We know that for your wedding you will only want the best, and we promise to only provide the very best. The first impression your guests will get of your wedding will be when the invitation arrives and it will set the tone for the day. Your prior planning will mean that you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Your venue can be made to look spectacular with co-ordinating Menus, Place Name Cards, Table Name Cards, Favours, Post Box and Table Plan, Flowers and Table Diamonds. Guests can be clued in as to how formal an occasion it will be – if you put ‘Morning Suits’ as a dress code then it will be apparent that it is smart with hats rather than ‘Smart Casual’, guests can dress accordingly and no one need feel under/over dressed. A stunningly elegant invitation or a pretty floral one will help to create the ambiance of the day, but above all the quality of the stationery will stand out – relaxed or formal, it’s still going to be a great day full of good quality!

What is your most memorable wedding?

A multi-faith wedding where part of the Order of Service was in Hebrew and my printer nearly had a nervous breakdown! For the same wedding I designed an A1 table plan as the table configuration was totally different.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Organisation is the key when planning your wedding - write everything down and you won't be worrying that you will forget something vital!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I either meet in person to discuss the requirements and style of the wedding. I then make up samples for approval. On receipt of the deposit I order in any materials that are required and make a start on making up the invitations. Once the guest list has been finalised I then finish making the invitations and print the envelopes. These are then sent either direct to the guests or to the couple to distribute. Nearer to the date of the wedding I then liaise with the couple for the final names of the guests attending and set up the remainder of the order on the computer and start the proofing process for the on the day stationery, such as table name cards, place name cards, menus, table plan etc. These are printed as near to the wedding day as possible in case of last minute changes and either sent or delivered. On occassion I have helped to set up the reception room whilst delivering the table plan etc.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

The wedding invitation sets the tone and style of your day. Extra information can be included with the invitation to answer guests questions and help them to plan their attendance without bothering the couple.
