What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was other than my own is One I did the photography and the cars for. It was in a Barn on the Brides Parents farm, the barn had no electric other than an extension lead from the main house for the DJ, The lights were candles in handpainted jam jars, the seats we straw bales set up around camping tables. The decorations were all hand made as was the buffet/food. Finally the food trough for the animals had been cleaned out filled with Ice and lots and lots of Alcohol for guests to help them selves. It was fantastic, beautiful and an amazing experience... the sort of wedding i'd love to do time and time again.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Responsive, Calm, Meticulous, Attentive, Happy.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our business was started when a Bride we were doing photography for requested to use our own personal car as her Wedding Car. Although we said no to start, she pleaded with us to whence we gave in and agreed. We remain very good friends with this Lady to this day and the business is going very strong.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Budget, Plan it. - Whether your budget is £1000 or £100,000, you can be sure that there are wedding venues and services out there that will suit your needs — and are within budget. I have been to some great weddings in my years and some of them were done on a shoe string. Its the people that are there that make the wedding not the money thats spent.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I've seen so many Awwww moments its hard to pick a favorite, everything from Pictures of loved ones Lost, to Streaming live to a patient dying of cancer in another country. Personalised Mini Drinks for place cards on the tables and even a baby in a kilt.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Our process either starts with an email or a text after the couple have visited our web page or FB page etc We then proceed to issue a quote based on their requirements and outlining every thing they can expect from our company and services. Some wish to see the cars some are happy with pictures either way once happy with the cars , The Services & The prices we then request a small deposit per car to reserve the car and date for the big day (Please note: Our cars will only cover one event per day) Thats it your cars are booked and will send a message to confirm. Approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding we will be in touch again to confirm arrangements, issue journey times etc and to request the balance on the booking. Finally arrival on the day to carry out your wishes.
What is your dream car and why?
My personal dream car would be a Rolls Royce Phantom but with a price tag of over £320,000 I think it can wait.
What would be your #1 tip for arriving in style?
Arriving in style is not just about the car, its about how you feel. If your wearing a big dress ensure there is ample room for you and it in the back of the car some cars look big but can be a tight squeeze. Try only to be you and your escort to the church ect in the car, don't squash in the brides maids. Arrive on time, NOT EARLY.
What is your favourite movie car chase?
I'm a big fast and furious fan so theres just to many to mention
