What is your most memorable wedding?
All memorable for so many reasons! You never forget the first one you do, or where the carriage is a surprise for the bride.
Of course there was always my friends wedding. Or the one where the best man learnt to drive a horse...
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, friendly, professional!
Helpful and fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our attention to detail and friendly service.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Choose your photographer wisely. You should like them as a person as you are going to spend a lot of time with them following you.
Check out their portfolio and get references too.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Packet of seeds as a wedding favour. Brilliant idea as both bride and groom were really into the natural world.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial enquiry is usually by email or telephone, I always try to make telephone contact with the couple (or organiser) to get a feel for how the planning is going.
At this stage I need the collection address, ceremony and reception location to prepare a quote for the couple. I reserve the date for 2 weeks.
Once a price is agreed then the deposit is paid and the date is confirmed as being booked.
Then 2 month - 6 weeks before hand I'll meet with the couple to have a look at their planned route for their wedding journeys and we will firm up timings for the day.
A week before I will either email or telephone to check that nothing has changed in the plans.
I will also recheck the route to make sure that there are no diversions or delays that we are likely to encounter.
