as there were no wedding fairs or open evenings at venues. I knew as soon as I got out of the car that this was our venue. I could just feel it inside. Despite the restrictions Eaves still kept high standards of the grounds and dressing of the venue – something we found other venues didn’t. I always wanted to get married in my family church so we did have a limited radius to chose venues, however the drive from the venue was fairly easy and we like the idea of having that time to ourselves after the ceremony with no one else interfering. After looking at some other venues, nothing quite hit the mark like Eaves did, it had everything we wanted, the character, the light, the space, the accommodation, the views and grounds and the ability to make it personal to you.
We did have a few issues during the planning of our wedding but these were sorted, it just felt like a shame that they happened. They were minor and didn't impact our day, but with them being so minor, in our view they shouldn't have happened.
That being said, the day was amazing, and I wish we could do it again. In the end, the little issues on the run up didn’t matter too much as it was perfect and we would chose to have our wedding at Eaves Hall, over and over and over again.
