Set in a 45-acre estate with stunning woodland stretching to the banks of the River Nith, the 19th century Friars Carse Country House Hotel offers 21 bedrooms and 2 cottages and is situated 6 miles from Dumfries town centre.
This fine Scottish Baronial Hall has a magnificent panelled entrance hall with an elegant staircase and offers guests a spacious lounge with an open fire, overlooking the gardens and river. The Friars Carse benefits from a lift to all floors.
The rooms offer a TV, telephone, and tea/coffee making facilities along with hairdryers. WiFi is available through out the hotel.
The Whistle Restaurant serves meals made using locally sourced and seasonal produce. Friars Carse also features a comfortable bar and snooker room.
