The Bedford Swan Hotel & Thermal Spa

We had our wedding here on 30.03.24, from the moment we booked at the swan everything was great. Everything went smoothly and got put into motion like we wanted. Amie planning and then when the wedding came round (very quickly!) Katie and Stuart on the day. Katie ensured the room was set up just how I wanted it and it looked amazing. Stuart ensured the day moved along aswell at Katie. Both reminding us that it was our day! All the staff were fabulous, we also had a meal in the main restaurant the night prior and that was lovely too! I would really recommend the events team to manage your wedding if you are looking into this venue myself, my husband and all our guests day and night had a fantastic day. The rooms are all beautiful, especially the Holland suite, it’s a big spacious room, we had 6 people and makeup/hair people and there was plenty of room, the beds are really comfortable and when we called down to the reception nothing was to much for them to help us out. In particular as mentioned a big thank you to Amie, Katie & Stuart you made our day amazing, We had the best time, Thank you !!!

A HUGE thank you to you and all the team, I appreciate it may have been a headache sorting a relatively small event with our awkwardness!! We had a wonderful day thank you ☺️ Can you please pass our sincere thanks to the following teams (apologies if I’ve spelt their names wrong!) : Katy and Aisha - it felt as though the day ran really smoothly and they had the perfect balance of being attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Joey and the bar team - super helpful / friendly both the day before and of the wedding. They dealt with our less than courteous drunk guest in a very professional and fair way. The Kitchen and Wait team - the food and service was brilliant! We all loved our meal and all of our guests are still raving about the buffet… annoyingly myself and Robin didn’t actually eat any of it!!!! Which we are both gutted about! But thank you so much for their hard work Reception team - very helpful and accommodating in both sorting out early check ins where possible but also locating our decorations after the next day. The only suggestion I would make for future is having some kind of dress stand available as there was no where in the room to hang my dress (wardrobes are too small). Joey kindly pinched the coat Stand from the tea room for me. Many thanks for all your help and we will hopefully have another occasion to celebrate with yourselves in the future!

110% recommend this amazing hotel. It's attentive staff, talented chefs and location. We very recently held our wedding at The Swan. It was seamless from start to finish. From initial correspondence with Sommy in events to the amazing on the day staff lead by the epic Charlotte. Go Swan Hotel, you made our day so special ❤️

Went for a wedding was a lovely area

We had our wedding on Saturday was a wonderful day and a magical day thank you so much for all your help and making sure everything goes so smoothly, we want to say thank you to the new guy who was on the bar in the coach room, we also want to say thank you to Stuart sommy and Charlotte for they’re wonderful help to set everything all up perfect of how we wanted it all to be.

just wanted to take a moment to thank you and all of The Team at The Swan for the most amazing time during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble from the time we checked in until we checked out. I’d like to thank Stuart for being very attentive and going overboard to meet our needs. Most of all we’d like to congratulate Ellie. I believe she has only worked at The Swan for a couple of weeks but her focus and enthusiasm is there for everyone to see. The guest of honour was thrilled with his birthday surprise which was made very special by everyone playing a big part in the proceedings. The food was piping hot and delicious and the function went without a hitch. The bedrooms were very comfortable and a couple of our party commented on how ‘dog friendly’ actually means that. Standards are not compromised in any way when a four legged friend is also staying in the room. They are also made very welcome in the public areas.
