The Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel

Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding day so perfect. We fell in love with the venue from our first visit, and right from the beginning you made the whole wedding planning process smooth and stress-free. Your experience with hosting weddings was invaluable to us and all our questions were answered quickly and comprehensively. The Diamond package was exactly what we wanted. The day itself was better than we could have imagined, and we were so pleased to be able to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful grounds of the hotel. The food was incredible, and many of our guests have said the same, I don’t think it could ever be beaten! All the staff were fantastic and very professional, and we want to thank every one of them for making the day so enjoyable for us. We wish we could re-live it! We finally got married on the 11th June 2022, after rescheduling twice due to covid. Right from the start Carol, our wedding planner, helped us with everything, making it as stress free as possible. Can’t recommend the Glen Yr Afon highly enough as a wedding venue. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fantastic. The venue and the grounds were beautiful and even the sun shone for us! Thank you again to Carol and all those involved in making our day so special. 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️❤️

We got married at the Glen Yr Afon on 21st May 2022. From the moment we visited the venue, Carol was amazing - helping us out with every detail to ensure our day was perfect. And it was. The day was everything that we could have dreamed of and more. The staff were absolutely incredible from start to finish - I couldn't fault them. The service they provided was brilliant and and so was the evening entertainment. We couldn't recommend this venue enough - we'd do it all over again if we could!!! Thank you to Carol, Sultan, Alex and the team for special day a dream come true.

We had our Wedding Reception here on 14.05.22 after having to rearrange due to Covid. Not once did the hotels commitment to making our day special waver through all of the uncertainty. Carol always knew what we needed to hear throughout the process and was so personable. We had lots of ideas that all came to life thanks to Carol and her team, every fine detail was thought of which made it look so beautiful. The day was truly magical and that is testimony to the hard work you put into the planning and execution on the day by Carol, Sulthan and the whole Glen-Yr-Afon team. It was nice to have so many food options avail all off which were amazing not only were all our guests complementary of the food, it great to see the children be so well catered for as well. Certainly none of our guests went hungry. A key factor in choosing Glen-Yr-Afon was the ability to have all our guests stay with us in the hotel. Carol’s management and organisation of this was a particular relief. Having everyone so close meant our wedding day turned into a whole weekend of celebrations. All the staff were exemplary, nothing was to much trouble and we were made to feel so special. We are ever so grateful for this. Mr & Mrs Walsh

We got married here, And it was the best experience we could have dreamed of. Staff was amazing and the best wedding coordinator we could ask for. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to get married.
