Our wedding was held at Lillibrooke last week. I knew I would love it when I saw it online, but when we stepped into the cloister garden on the first showround we knew we would get married there. The pictures and videos online do little justice to how stunning Lillibrooke is. We viewed the rest of the estate with Jonny who made us feel so welcome and truly as though our wedding was just as important to him as it was to each of us. Lillibrooke just felt like 'us'. We booked our date there and then.
Every interaction with the team in the lead up was simple and straightforward, nothing was too much trouble. Jonny and Fiona were on hand for any questions we had and were able advise us about what could work in the spaces available and make suggestions to help us to plan our big day.
The day itself was perfect, I knew once my feet had set themselves down in the beautiful cottage room that didn't have to worry about anything. The wonderful Annabel went through everything with me and dealt with any issues that arose swiftly and without anyone noticing. An example was when my grandmother started to feel suddenly very unwell during dinner. Annabel quietly took her into the Engine Room for some space and air and looked after her. She and the team went above and beyond to ensure she was okay and helped to get her back to her hotel to rest, all the while keeping the rest of dinner service running perfectly.
The team have got every single part of the day down to a fine art and I cannot thank them enough for helping us to have the most stress free, relaxed and amazing wedding. I would get married at Lillibrooke again in a heartbeat, the venue, staff, food (oh my god the food!!), were second to none. The feedback from each of our guests has been insane too, everyone was so impressed with every aspect. Jonny, Fiona, Annabel, the waiting staff, the chefs, everyone - thank you, so much for all that you did!
