Full Description
Barton Court is a magical, welcoming, property that moves everyone. As the setting for a wedding, it is magnificent: the architecture is graceful; the outlook over the Malvern Hills is glorious and the decor individual and stylish. The house itself has 10 bedrooms which can sleep up to 20 people in comfort. The drawing room was used as a small ballroom when the house was first built and, depending on the size and style of your wedding, can be location for your wedding breakfast. There is also a formal dining room for 36 and a library on the ground floor along with 2 bedrooms for people who have difficulties with stairs. Talking of stairs, the cantilevered staircase ensures any bride a spectacular entrance. The ceremony can take place either inside - in the dining room or drawing room - or in our converted barn, called The Engine Room. There, you have lovely views of the hills as the backdrop to your vows. Or you can now opt to have your service out of doors in the Walled Garden that looks out onto the Malvern Hills. The Clock Tower, a stunning 18th century building, has been converted to become the honeymoon suite and is our gift to the couple on their wedding night.
