We will arrange a viewing of the hotel for you by appointment and then take the time to tailor make your Wedding Reception here at the Bateman’s Mill Hotel to meet your specific requirements. We can also assist in the any additional arrangements for your special day from the flower arrangements to the Brides car.
Your Wedding Reception can be large or small and whether you decide to hold an intimate event for family and close friends or something more lavish, our professional and experienced team will ensure your Wedding Day will be a memory to cherish years to come.

Travel Notes
From the M1: Take the exit at Junction 29, then the exit signposted Clay Cross (A6175), follow this road for approximately 4 miles, on entering Clay Cross at the T junction turn right in the direction of Chesterfield (A61) then immediately left (just before a post office), follow this road for approximately 1 mile, the Hotel is situated on the right hand side.
From Chesterfield: Take the A61 in the direction of Alfreton & Derby. Follow this road until second roundabout (Royal Oak public house), at this roundabout take the last exit signposted Ashover & Littlemoor, follow this road for approximately 1½ miles until the signpost to Bateman’s Mill, turn left into Mill lane, the hotel is 200 yards on left hand side.
