Boston Guildhall is a unique and exclusive venue for your special day, with many beautiful features to the building and the rich history and role that the Guildhall has played to the town of Boston, this historic venue can not be matched. We are a Grade I listed building of some national significance, originally built for the Guild of St Mary in the 1390's.
The Banqueting Hall, with its high beamed ceiling and wonderful acoustics, is able to offer a traditional forward facing seating arrangement or a semi circle arrangement depending on your preference. The original tracery window at the front of the room gives the historic building a traditional feel and warmth and welcomes both smaller and larger wedding parties into the space.
In response to the current pandemic, we have taken steps to meet the Visit England "We're Good to Go" Kite Mark. If you would like to know more please feel welcome to contact us to find out how we are managing the venue and supporting our couples.
We can also accommodate a drinks reception by agreement or a wedding breakfast to follow on from your ceremony. A drinks reception is usually offered in our historic kitchen, with its exposed timbers and original fireplaces, this space is perfect to share a toast and maybe cut your wedding cake with friends and family or perhaps include a buffet to accompany.
If you would like to share your wedding breakfast with your guests here at Boston Guildhall the Banqueting Hall can seat up to approximately 60 guests as a dining setting - and while you are enjoying drinks and taking photographs, we will turn the room around in readiness to welcome you and your guests back to this beautiful space.
Please be aware that we have a lift between the ground and first floor, a fully accessible unisex toilet and baby changing on site and full access for all throughout the building. There is a car park available opposite the building and further parking is available within a couple of minutes walk.
