Bowerchalke Barn

Carolyn was extremely welcoming from the very first visit, flexible, professional and proactive. Nothing was too much trouble and she or Tim responded promptly to emails and phone calls. Carolyn took the stress and anxiety out of our wedding day when she said 'that's my job, I do that' and it did appear Carolyn 'can and did do everthing' to make our Wedding Day perfect. Thank you Bowerchalke Barn a truly beautiful venue and as one of our guest said 'spectacular'....

It really is the most incredible venue in an utterly fabulous location and we could really make it in to the day we wanted. Equally the guidance the support is very definitely there in spades, but we had the freedom to curate our day with our wonderful suppliers. We had the most amazing day, and Tim and Carolyn were totally brilliant smoothing bits and pieces over and being such a calm presence. I could not recommend the venue and team more highly and I just wish we could do it all over again!

Myself and my husband had the best time celebrating our wedding at bowerchalke barn. Tim and Carolyn were really helpful on the day, checking in to see if we needed anything and if we wanted any help in the lead up to set up. We got married outside in the hut which was super special and allowed our guests to be surprised by the inside of the barn following the ceremony. We highly recommend Bowerchalke as a wedding venue, it's beautiful, has so much character and Tim and Carolyn are great!!

We both always thought it was such a cliché to say that your wedding day is the best day of your life.. but it really was!! Carolyn and Tim were so incredibly helpful and accommodating. Every last little detail was handled perfectly by Carolyn. From the big to the small stuff, they were both so friendly and approachable, always quick to respond to any queries. We felt confident that they were experienced and knowledgeable, and gave lots of sound advice. I really do wish we could do it all again!

With Covid causing disruption to our planned wedding, we started looking at other venues, when we saw Bowerchalke Barn we instantly fell in love with the place, honestly if this were the first venue we viewed, we would not have looked anywhere else. The barn is very grand, but very rustic at the same time - although the barn is quite large it still has a nice intimate feel about it and it is so lovely as it is, we hardly put any decorations out (it really didn't need them!). The Shepherds Hut toilets are a cool touch too. Tim was ever so helpful, during the planning and helping to set up and on the day itself, and considering we only confirmed about 2 weeks in advance the wedding would actually go ahead (it was off and on for a while with covid regs changing) shows how accommodating and patient he is. Tim recommend The Thirsty Buffalo to stock and run the bar for the night, and they also were brilliant.
