Weddings are beautiful occasions and grand parties with each being different to the last. So many amazing memories from the Weddings we have coordinated, from hosting extravagant 2 day Asian ceremonies to being fully immersed in a Scottish/Norwegian wedding with the two cultures unified to create a truly unforgettable day for all the staff and guests!
My personal favourite is Bohemian Tipi weddings as it really does unleash the most creativity from our couples. We love the anticipation of their individual twist on their big day and emits a true festival party atmosphere.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Choose a Venue with an in house Wedding Coordinator who are experienced and trained in coordinating large Events. This will reduce your stress levels in the run up to your big day hugely.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Homemade favours is always something I love as it is such a personal touch making the day totally unique for the guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many! But the Wedding photographers do love to take advantage of pre-existing structures that have existed throughout our history such as the Wall Coves at the back of the hotel.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We ensure all guests are treated the same so are unable to tell you if we have had a celebrity wedding guest attend. No celebrities have been married here at our hotel, but Tom Daley and Lance had their beautiful wedding celebrations at our sister hotel Bovey Castle.

Location...being on the countryside hill those views are just priceless and everlasting with peaceful surroundings
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our business have had many great achievements over the past few years, in particular the hotel prides itself on their culinary talents having achieved two AA red rosettes for our food and our Head Chef having won the Battle of Eden
